David Beckham, the former British soccer superstar, showed he knows how to handle all sorts of balls, after catching a stray ball during the Wimbledon men’s doubles semi-final on Thursday.

Watching the match between Israeli tennis veteran Yoni Erlich and his German partner Phillip Petzschner and Britain’s Jamie Murray and Australian John Peers from the Royal Box, Beckham was quick to react when a stray ball bounced off of the line-judge’s chair in his direction.

Beckham was able to catch the ball with little effort, and throw it back, barely breaking a sweat. After a large smile, some cheering from the crowd, and a quick wave, play was able to resume.

The match ended with the Israeli-German team falling to Murray and Peers in four sets.
