We're all pretty stoked for Thursday night's tip-off for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, with Israeli head coach David Blatt, in his first season as an NBA coach, taking his Cavaliers to the finals against the red-hot Golden State Warriors.

LeBron vs. Steph. Should be quite the impressive series.

Today, news emerged that the Eastern Conference champs are expected to announce a trip to Israel following the series against Golden State, to play Blatt's former team, last year's Euro League champions Maccabi Tel Aviv Electra.

The game is slated to take place during the pre-season for the 2015/16 season.

If the news is indeed true, it means LeBron James' first trip to Israel, and likely a first trip for many other ballers, including Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Kendrick Perkins, J. R. Smith, and the rest of the Cavs.

According to Ynet News, the negotiations between Cleveland and Maccabi Tel Aviv are still in its initial stages, with the Israelis requesting the pre-season because they're also due to play two exhibition games in Chicago and in New York that month.

In October of last year, the Cavs defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 107-80, which was ironically David Blatt's debut in Cleveland.

The news comes in the wake of LeBron James saying Blatt's done a "hell of a good job" getting the team to the finals, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu telling the Israel coach, that "all of Israel" is cheering for Cleveland.
