BDS activists in South Africa are promising pop star Pharrell Williams a rough visit to South Africa unless he cuts ties with retailer Woolworths.

In what seems to be a string of specialized attacks against celebrities caught corroborating with the Jewish State, Pharrell will join big names like Bon Jovi, Lauryn Hill, and many others who have been pressured to cancel their work due to some association with Israel.

Williams currently has a promotional deal with Woolworths, collaborating with the company on their "Are You With Us" campaign, acting as a style director and helping direct the company on several projects involving fashion and fundraising.

Yet BDS South Africa is threatening to make the musicians visit to the former-apartheid country particularly unpleasant, with threats to block roads on concert nights, potentially delaying proceedings, or even rallying inside the venue.

"He is about to face the biggest backlash any artist has faced in South Africa in over 30 years, since the days of apartheid," said Braam Hanekom, a BDS South Africa board member.

"He is walking into a very angry, unhappy environment because he has chosen to walk with Woolworths," Hanekom continued, after the city of Cape Town denied an application by thousands to protest Pharrell's September 21st concert.

Though Pharrell's representatives have yet to respond to the BDS movements calls for action, Grand West Casino, the venue for Pharrell's show in Cape Town, as made it abundantly clear that they will not tolerate any activists ruining the pop star's concert, clearly saying that they will not allow any protests on their property.
