The male does not see an issue with the swastika-labeled flag

The time of World War II was an atrocious and tumultuous time for the global population. While some mourn the incidents that occurred during this time, others still choose to revel in Nazi symbolism – this includes the discovery of a giant swastika on a baseball field, the existence of Hitler branded ice cream, and Nazi toy soldiers being sold in a Swedish toy store.

Now, a man from Kings Mountain, North Carolina has been hanging a Nazi flag from his home. The man, John Brown, has reported that he will take down the flag, however that he does not think that the flag is offensive. One main reason for his removal of the flag is that it is becoming old, and no longer fit to fly.

Some neighbours do not take Brown seriously, believing him to be a war buff, who just enjoys indulging in certain mediums from WWII. According to some neighbours, Brown reportedly enjoys watching films from the time period, and listening to German music as well.

On the other hand, many neighbours see the flag as extremely offensive.

“It stands out like a sore thumb,” said one of Brown’s neighbours, Chris Curry. “We’re in a good neighbourhood, we don’t need this.”

Brown explained that in a few days, the Nazi flag will be replaced with an American one or a state one. Despite this, he still does not see the issue with a Nazi flag, stating that he would wave a pirate flag if he had one.
