Shoshana B. Roberts famous street harassment video has spawned several parodies, including this one, but the latest video using their concept is a chilling awakening to the gross anti-Semitic hatred that France's Jews are being forced to encounter on a daily basis.

Dressed in a yarmulke (kippa), an Israeli journalist by the name of Zvika Klein walks silently for hours through the streets of Paris to see how people in various communities would respond to him, in a video called "10 Hours of Walking in Paris As a Jew."

Klein is a reporter for news site nrg.co.il, and released the footage of his video on Sunday - read his report here. As he walked around the suburb of Sarcelles, home to a large Muslim community, he encountered several anti-Semitic jeers and comments. When he walked around the center of Paris, however, people seemed to more or less indifferent to him.

In one scene, you can see a person calling him "Jew" as he walks by; in others, you see people spitting at his direction. There's also an instance where a person says "Viva Palestine," where one man walks beside him for several minutes, and where people call him out for being homosexual.

Klein's video comes in the wake of increased anti-Semitism in the country - with double the amount of anti-Semitic incidents reported in the country in 2014 - and also the attacks on Charlie Hebdo and the Hyper Cacher supermarket.
