It's long been speculated that being anti-Israel has become something of a trend on American university and college campuses as of late, particularly in the aftermath of Operation Protective Edge.

American student government presidents have poured buckets of fake blood over themselves in protest of Israeli "genocide," students have drawn swastikas on Jewish frat houses, and the Boycott, Divest & Sanction movement against the Jewish State has gained considerable momentum.

Despite the rising amount of terrorist attacks that have been waged on Israel recently in what many agree is the start of the third intifada, American students do not seem to be deterred from waging their war on Israel.

In fact, the student government at University of California, Los Angeles, didn't seem perturbed by the terrorist attack on a Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday, voting to divest from American companies that do business in Israel.

Miles away, it seems the students at University of California-Berkley harbor a very similar mentality.

As recorded by filmmaker Ami Horowitz, it seems American university students hold a grudge against Israel, despite the current events taking shape in the nation that you'd think would at least arouse some sympathy. Howoritz captured footage of himself on campus waving two distinct flags: that of ISIS, and that of Israel.

While waving the ISIS flag, students barely seemed bothered by Horowitz's chants of "ISIS is misunderstood. We just want our own state. Western and American imperialism are to blame, not us. We just want a state of our own, an Islamic state, no different than America."

The only person that said anything told him he couldn't smoke on campus.

When Horowitz switched to an Israeli flag, however, the reactions from students were far more hostile. Many told him to fuck off, many said they did not agree that Hamas was a terrorist organization, and one chanted "Free Palestine from Israel dude!"

It seems all hope is lost. Or, in the words of Horowtiz in an article he wrote for Fox News, "If these are our best and brightest then we should all be afraid, very afraid."
