Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown Go Nazi in Video for "Only"

They say all publicity is good publicity, but that sentiment may not ring true for Nicki Minaj, as she gears up to release her new album, The Pinkprint.

Yesterday, Minaj released a lyric video for the previously released single "Only" which features verses from Torontonian Jewish hero Drake and Lil Wayne, and a chorus from Chris Brown.

While the song is your standard expletive-filled rap anthem, with nothing more offensive than what we've already become accustomed to, the video has sparked an outrage on social media, angered Minaj's millions of fans, and prompted the Anti-Defamation League to condemn Minaj for her alleged use of Nazi imagery, and for glorifying Nazi propaganda.

You have to wonder how Drake, the poster boy for Jewish rap (who not too long ago gathered many fellow M.C.'s at a Bar Mitzvah-style extravaganza) gave his consent to an animated music video where he and his peers are wearing Nazi-style military attire, sporting armbands with YM (Young Money) icons that gravely resemble swastikas (colors and all), and the overall entire premise for "Only," which finds Minaj as a dictator of sorts addressing thousands of soldiers ready to wreak havoc and war on anyone who crosses them - presumably the allied forces?

I mean, the distinctions here are fairly obvious, particularly the red armbands.

ADL National Director Abraham Foxman has since issued an open letter to Minaj, and director Jeff Osborne, claiming the video "disturbingly evokes" Third Reich propaganda and "constitutes a new low for pop culture’s exploitation of Nazi symbolism."

"The irony should be lost on no one that this video debuted on the 76th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “night of broken glass” pogrom that signaled the beginning of the Final Solution and the Holocaust," he added.

Again, this is going to be very bad P.R. for Minaj and the entire Young Money team. Also again, c'mon Drake. Nothing seemed fishy to you about this video? You weren't offended or repulsed by it at all?

"This video is insensitive to Holocaust survivors and a trivialization of the history of that era," Foxman continued. "The abuse of Nazi imagery is deeply disturbing and offensive to Jews and all those who can recall the sacrifices Americans and many others had to make as a result of Hitler’s Nazi juggernaut."

Meanwhile, Twitter users have also shared their disgust at "Only."

People weren't pleased at Drake either.
