New reports confirm that the terrorist organization did in fact shoot rockets into Israel from dense civilian areas

Hamas Admits to Launching Rockets from Civilian Areas

A few days ago, Jewish rapper Ari Lesser released a new song/video that can be easily summed up as follows: you're a fool if you support Hamas.

While many anti-Israel crusaders out there may call this declaration as "biased," we suggest they only look at the facts.

During Operation Protective Edge, the Hamas-run Ministry of Health released figures that argued Israels targeted civilians. Later, those numbers proved to be inaccurate. They also refused to admit they used human shields, before the IDF located a Hamas combat manual which instructed its militants to do precisely that.

There is also the matter of journalists reporting from Gaza, clarified by a Hamas official who confirmed that they kicked out those journalists looking to capture where in fact they were shooting rockets from. One courageous Indian reporter Sreenivasan Jain for Hindi language news channel NDTV was able to film members of the terrorist organization placing "civilians at risk by firing rockets deep from the heart of civilian zones."

Now there is more indisputable proof that Hamas is not an organization whose alleged "facts" can be trusted. According to a report from the Times of Israel, Hamas publicly admitted to using civilian areas to launch rockets, claiming that while "mistakes" were made, they had no other choice as Gaza is very densely populated.

However, according to a BBC map of the Gaza Strip, there are several open areas from which Hamas could have set up their rocket operations in order to avoid harming their own civilians.

“The Israelis kept saying rockets were fired from schools or hospitals when, in fact, they were fired from 200-300 meters [220-328 yards] away. Still there were some mistakes made and they were quickly dealt with,” said senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad to the The Associated Press.

As demonstrated by Jain, this claim can be rendered false. He and his Indian TV crew captured footage that showed a rocket launching not only from a civilian area where their hotel was located, but also near a United Nations building.

During Operation Protective Edge, rockets were found underneath UNRWA buildings in Gaza on more than one occasion.

And as United Nations is investigating both Israel and Hamas for possible war crimes that took place during this operation, it must be taken into account that on the Israeli side, all actions are entirely accounted for, while on Hamas' side, there are numerous confirmed cases of Hamas committing such war crimes. Whether or not they will be reprimanded for them, however, remains the question.
