To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Regesh Family and Child Services will be holding a much-anticipated gala Oct. 1, 2013, featuring stellar entertainment and a star-studded list of celebrity guests, to take place at Toronto's Japanese Canadian Culture Centre.

Tickets are $150.

The gala's entertaining line up will include, a stunning cirque performance by the renowned Zero Gravity Circus, and an upscale auction with more than $100,000 worth in items, many generously donated from celebrities.

NewsTalk1010 radio host John Tory will emcee.

Regesh works with at-risk youth directly in their schools and offers family support programs, their primary mission to keep youth off the streets and in school while supporting the vulnerable families in our community who need it most.

For thirty years Regesh has been renowned for its quality clinical treatment of children, youth and families of all nationalities. Their objective? To nurture a better sense of self by developing skills in relationships, social life skills with dignity, and increased self-worth, and also, to reduce youth crime and aggression by enhancing a sense of community belonging, and pride in self and society.

As a not-for-profit registered charity, Regesh provides services on a sliding scale to ensure all those that need our help will have access to our services.

Keeping kids safe and secure has resonated so deeply with many celebrities, that they have lent their support to Regesh in the form of auction items, including:

Comedian Jim Belushi (According to Jim), actress Mayim Bialik (Big Bang Theory), actor Rob Morrow (Numb3rs, Northern Exposure), singer Lisa Loeb, singer Nikki Yanofsky, and others.

Auction items also include jewelry, home items, vacations, sports memorabilia, restaurant deals and high-end artwork.

"I’m truly thrilled that we’ll have dazzling entertainment at what is expected to be a one-of-a-kind gala," said Edwin Schild, executive director of Regesh.

"It is a wonderful way to celebrate thirty years of helping kids and families overcome traumas, and having touched the lives of thousands of people.
