The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, ending an extensive wait that has captured world interest.

Kate Middleton gave birth to the Royal baby, third in line to the throne, at 4:24 pm London time in the private Jewish-funded Lindo wing of St Mary’s hospital. She was admitted to the hospital at 6 am accompanied by Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.

A Jewish Prince?

Ever since the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, rumours began to spread that Kate’s mom, Carole Goldsmith, was packing some Jewish genes which, according to Halacha, would make Kate a JBP (Jewish British Princess).

The public was officially informed of the royal miracle by the traditional British method: posting a paper notice on an easel displayed outside the Palace.

The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry & families are said to be delighted. Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, told the media that he is "enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time... an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine."
