Thanks to CNN’s Anderson Cooper and the Daily Mail, a fake website using the name of Noah Pozner, the six year-old shot to death on December 14th in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, was discovered and subsequently removed.

The fake site, which was asking for donations in the child’s memory, was redirected to the family’s official website, noahpozner.org. which asks visitors to make a donation to Noah’s Ark of Hope, and includes a note that reads, this “is the only official website for payment to directly and solely benefit the siblings of Noah Pozner."

Donations will help pay for counseling needed by Noah's four siblings, including his twin sister.

Equally disturbing is that the people behind the fraudulent site even go as far as to include details about Noah and his family, about the funeral, and listed a New York address, which the family never heard of.

Noah's uncle, Alexis Haller told Cooper that he has spent too much time stopping fake websites from using the Pozner name, that "instead of doing things with our family, I am running around trying to protect the family."
