While the NBA is on the brink of a lockout, the players keep playing.

Nike has turned the negative, a potential season ending lockout, to a great marketing campaign with the catch-phrase "Basketball Never Sleeps".

This campaign has featured NBA stars such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul playing pickup basketball in playgrounds and leagues across the country. Last night, James was spotted playing at the local JCC basketball league in Beachwood, Ohio. He then tweeted the following after the game:

In a video courtesy of Nike Basketball, James explained what the phrase "Basketball Never Stops" means to him:

"No matter where you're at, no matter what time of the day, you can always have a love for the game, and you can always play the game," James explains. "You could be playing inside your house with your loved ones or at a rec league with kids, or playing at a rec league with 40-and-over guys, it doesn't matter. The game of basketball never stops no matter what's going on in the world because people love the game that much."

Yes, we do. Now let's hope the NBA and the players can resolve this dispute before a season is lost.
