A Global Children's Survey was released Friday, where 50,000 participants ages 8, 10 and 12 from across fifteen countries were asked questions about how satisfied they are with their lives.

The survey, published by Walla News, found that children from European countries are typically socially happier than African children, though they are reportedly satisfied academically.

As Israel National News reports, the top two countries are Colombia and Romania, despite the fact that neither are as economically stable as other countries on the list. Israeli kids also made it to the top of the happy chart, placing between Algeria and Turkey, with kids rating their satisfaction at an average of 9.2.

73% of Israeli kids surveyed, however, claimed they were generally satisfied with their lives, though some 3.5% of kids rated their satisfaction under 5.

Children who participated were asked questions about their family life, school, social life, financial situation, where they live, their rights, and seeking out other such information.

Israeli boys and girls answered more-or-less the same, though there were certain areas where their answers differed entirely, particularly on body image, self-esteem, etc.

Interestingly, while in the U.K., Estonia, Poland, and South Korea, kids replied that they spent the majority of their time doing homework, in countries like Israel, Poland and Norway, they apparently spend more time doing athletic activities.

Out of the countries surveyed, South Korean children were the least satisfied with their lives.
