The Charlotte Jewish Film Festival opens its sixth annual festival Mar. 4. Its mission is “to illuminate global Jewish experiences through film.”

Organized by the Charlotte Chapter of Hadassah and the Levine Jewish Community Center, the festival chooses films that are universally accessible while showing the great diversity of Jewish life. This year’s selections include Noodle, Holy Land Hardball, and the Canadian film Inside Hana’s Suitcase (click here and here for our two-part interview with director Larry Weinstein).

The volunteer-run festival will screen 11 films in total from Mar. 4-14. For more information, visit www.charlottejewishfilm.org
