Banana shoe.
Slingshot shoe.
Gum shoe.

If you're a diehard shoe lover and covet a pricey pair of Manolos or Louboutins, you probably haven't seen Israeli shoe designer Kobi Levi's creations.

With wearable designs like banana slip-ons, gum high heels, slingshot sandals and mallard duck pumps (to name just a few), it's no surprise that the first celebrity to wear his over-the-top, off-the-wall "shoe sculptures" is the queen of pop, Lady Gaga. Apparently her fashion directors contacted Tel Aviv-based Levi and asked for a pair of for Gaga to wear in her "Born this Way" video.

Levi says it takes him about a month to design and create (by hand) a new "shoe creature," and he told CNN that he's not in the business to make money. In fact, the only way to get your feet into a pair is to contact Levi directly and, if you're lucky enough, he'll do up a custom order. (There's no word on how much these works of art cost.)

His "children," as he calls them, can been seen in magazines, books, on TV shows and in museums and theatres around the world.
