Where do you go when your lacking inspiration?

I have loved poetry since I was very young and I have amassed a lovely collection over the years. Whenever I’m feeling uninspired I just sit and read, sometimes for hours, and it usually brings the muse!

Where's your favourite place to travel to?

Europe. Paris & London especially.

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them.

I have a rescue named Jack who has the best personality! He’s the happiest creature I know. He always looks like he’s smiling and he never fails to make me laugh. He’s the jester in our house.

What's your favourite dish? Where do you normally get it?

I’m a sushi junkie and I usually go to Katsuya’s place called Izakaya on 3rd street in LA but I love food too much to declare a ‘favourite dish.’

Who, in your opinion, is the most beautiful person on earth?

Cate Blanchett

What's your biggest pet peeve?

Rudeness and inefficiency.

Are you religious? Spiritual? Nothing at all?

Not religious in the least but VERY spiritual.

What's your favourite movie?

Too many to name but I love Katherine Hepburn and Stage Door is probably at the top followed by The Philadelphia Story.

TV Show?

The West Wing. Always and forever.

Mumford & Sons, The Dixie Chicks, Patty Griffin, Leonard Cohen.

If you weren't performing, what would you be doing?

Teaching high school English and drama.

Can you offer a piece of advice to aspiring artists?

Don’t give people too much power. Trust your instincts. Everyone will try to tell you who you are, what to do, how to be. Just live and work for yourself and you will always find joy in it no matter how rough it gets.

Who's your best friend?

My “tribe” of girlfriends, as I refer to them.

What's your biggest regret?

That I’m so good at goodbye.

Do you play any sports?

I scuba dive and hike and do yoga and am really active but don’t play on a team of any kind. I’m always the first person up for a friendly sports match though!
