Ethan Bortnick

Ethan Bortnick is child prodigy extraordinaire! At only 10 years old, he is an accomplished pianist, singer, composer, songwriter, actor, and one of the world’s youngest philanthropists. He began playing piano at the age of 3 by mimicking any music he heard in the popular Baby Einstein series, and by the time he hit 5, he was composing his own tunes.

In 2007, Bortnick made his television debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Since then, he has returned to the show 3 times. Most notably, in 2009, he presented Jay with a song titled The King Of Late Night, which Bortnick wrote as a tribute to the talk show host. He has also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, The Martha Stewart Show, and Yo Gabba Gabba.

Bortnick has shared the stage with more music industry legends at his young age than most professionals over the entire span of their career, including Nelly Furtado, Elton John, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Beyonce, and Reba McEntire. In February 2010, Ethan became the youngest member of the all-star We Are The World 25 for Haiti line-up.

The youngster has also made a name for himself as a generous philanthropist, using his talent “to express his desire to help people, especially children”. Bortnick has helped raise millions of dollars for international charities including The Miami Children’s Hospital, The Boys & Girls Club, The American Heart Association, and the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
