Love, Loss, and What I Wore continues to draw crowds at the Panasonic Theatre, with the third rotating cast having taken the stage Sept. 10 for a three-week run until Oct. 2.

FashionTelevision host and Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker – who recently debuted her new clothing line, EDIT – stars alongside Barbara Budd (co-host of CBC Radio’s “As It Happens”), Luba Goy (Royal Canadian Air Farce), Sheila McCarthy (Little Mosque on the Prairie) and Jane McLean (upcoming season of CSI:NY) in the multi-character roles of women who reminisce about their lives, loves and favourite pieces of clothing.

Lisa Horner, who played the titular mother in the smash-hit My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding – also at the Panasonic Theatre – will replace Beker for select performances.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore was written by Nora and Delia Ephron and based on the book by Ilene Beckerman. The play presents five actresses, all dressed in stylish black and reading off music stands, recounting the misadventures, sorrows, relationships and romances they’ve experienced throughout their lives, and how specific garments – a wedding tuxedo, a sexy pair of boots, or even a familiar bathrobe – play into those memories.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore runs until Oct. 2 at the Panasonic Theatre. For more information, visit Read our previous coverage of Jeanne Beker here, our review of the first cast of Love, Loss here and our interview with actress Lauren Collins, who starred in the second rotation, here.
