If you were wondering how much your car is really worth, now you can easily find out.

Now there is a website that can help you take the guesswork out of determining your car’s value. Canadian Black Book, the recognized institution for vehicle valuing for almost 50 years, launched a web site for consumers, which includes access to its popular "Trade-in Value" estimator, along with some new tools and advice.

Prospective car buyers can now visit www.canadianblackbook.comto learn the trade-in value, average asking price and future value of virtually every car and truck manufactured since 1997. The data is drawn from a variety of real transactions, and provides the public with the most accurate values available.

On the new site, consumers simply select their model, year, and then further fine-tune the search by choosing more specific options and details about the car in question. The engine that calculates the vehicle's value takes into account the mileage of the car, as well as similar vehicles for sale in the consumer's vicinity. With this information, the site then provides a low, medium and high value range in seconds.
