Israel Places 14th in Eurovision

Harel Skaat

Israel finished in 14th place at the annual Eurovision Song Contest, held this year in Oslo, Norway. Harel Skaat represented Israel and made it to the semi-finals with the song “Milim.”


Skaat’s performance earned him 71 points. Germany won the top prize with 246 points. Turkey and Romania came in second and third place, respectively.


Twenty-five countries participated in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Next year’s event will be held in Germany.
