Entertainment Weekly reports Fox Network already ordered a third season of Glee. The hit TV show stars Jewish actors such as Lea Michele and Dianna Agron. Peter Rice, Fox Network's entertainment chairman, explained the network's decision for an early pick-up.

In a statement, Rice said, "In just one year, Glee has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop-culture phenomenon."

Director Ryan Murphy also released a statement, discussing the show's success and his future plans. He told Fox News, "It's been a whirlwind year — from shooting the pilot to performing at the White House to the concert tour that began last week — and yet we all feel like we've just begun this amazing musical journey. We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we'll have in store for them in seasons two and three."

Season one of Glee wraps up on June 8.
