The Israel Film Festival returns to Montreal with seven films. This year’s festival will screen films at the AMC Forum (2313 Ste-Catherine W.) and Cinema des Sources (3237 Blvd. Des Sources) between April 25 and May 3. Below is the complete list of the films featured at the festival:

A Matter of Size – A lighthearted comedy about four fed up, overweight friends who come to the realization that size is an asset in sumo wrestling.

Ajami – This Oscar-nominated movie focuses on a series of interrelated stories that eventually come together.

Five Hours From Paris – The film tells the story of Yigal, a taxi driver and Lina, a music teacher who has given up on her dreams. The two eventually cross paths and life starts to feel like a French film – until reality sets in.

Eyes Wide Open – This film focuses on a gay love story in the heart of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Jerusalem.

James' Journey to Jerusalem – In James' Journey to Jerusalem, a Christian African tribe sends a noble man in their village, James, on a spiritual journey to Jerusalem. However, Israel is no longer the holy land that James and his tribe imagined.

Lebanon – The movie focuses on the emotional traumas of young Israeli soldiers drafted into the war.
