Michael Kronick, owner of celebrity memorabilia site, obtained a stop-payment order to take back his $20,000 donation to Corey Haim’s funeral. Kronick’s company originally sent a cheque to help fund Haim’s funeral costs after a barrage of stories reported that the late actor died penniless.

According to TMZ, Kronick decided to revoke his donation after finding out that the money was spent on cancer treatments for Judy Haim, Corey’s mother. Judy has been battling breast cancer, but her rep denied the allegation and said the money was used to pay for Haim’s March 16th funeral in Toronto.

The Lost Boys star died on March 10 at the age of 38. It is alleged that drug overdose factored into his death, but an investigation is still pending. Most recent reports said that Haim obtained more than 550 prescription pills from different doctors and pharmacies weeks before his death.
