First Independent Pictures have obtained the U.S. rights to the movie Holy Rollers after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The film is set in the late ‘90s and tells the story of Hasidic Jews from New York who smuggled ecstasy into the city. Holy Rollers stars Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Bartha.

Producer Danny A. Abeckaser expressed his delight with the decision to hand the rights to First Independent Pictures in an article in Screen Daily. He says, “We share the same vision and belief in this beautiful and unique independent film.”

Holy Rollers is set to be released this summer in the U.S.
