71-year-old influential Jewish voice actor Harry Shearer's announcement that he was leaving The Simpsons was the first newsworthy thing regarding the animated TV show in a long time.

Yes, they did get some hype with the crossover episode with Family Guy, and of course, the Rick and Morty couch gag, but besides that, it seems more people are watching the couch gags than anything else.

Shearer's departure from the show, however, was news. It took over social media, with publications still continuing to share their favorite moments with the talented actor who voiced famous characters like Montgomery Burns, Ned Flanders, Waylon Smithers, Otto, Reverend Lovejoy, and several others.

In the wake of his announcement, of course, comedians and voice actors have come out of the woodwork, taking to YouTube to display their prowess at doing Simpsons characters impressions.

One in particular, Brock Baker, does a pretty good job, especially his Otto, as you can see in his job application of sorts below, impersonating some fourteen Simpsons characters that Shearer lent his vocal chops to.
