Today was a good day for Harrison Ford, Harrison Ford fans, and the Harrison Ford brand in general.

Not only did J.J. Abrams and Disney break the internet by unveiling a brand new trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, which displays Ford reprising his epic role as Hans Solo, but news emerged that teenage hot throb and indie music enthusiast Ryan Gosling would be joining Ford in the cast of Blade Runner 2, the sequel to the iconic 1982 film.

That's two classic franchises that Ford's a part of that are being revamped. Not to mention potential sequels to the Indiana Jones saga.

What makes the Star Wars trailer so endearing is also the return of the Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca (sweet!), which will likely make fans of the franchise, and nostalgia geeks in general, go even wilder in anticipation for the seventh episode of the series.

As for Gosling joining Blade Runner 2, The Wrap claims that he's in negotiations to join the 72-year-old Ford on the film created by the 77-year-old Ridley Scott.

Ryan Gosling, Blade Runner 2

What role Gosling will portray we're not entirely sure of, but goddamn. That's already a pretty wicked cast.

Stay tuned for more news on both films (the Blade Runner sequel is said to start shooting in 2016), and watch the new Star Wars trailer below.
