Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin’s highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic finally has a release date. The feature film, starring Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen, will be hitting theatres October 9, 2015.

The feature, simply titled ‘Steve Jobs’ sees Boyle directing Sorkin’s screenplay adapted from Walter Isaacson’s famous biography of the Apple co-founder. The movie will focus on three important product launches.

“Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter, “ describes Universal Pictures.

Fassbender plays title character Jobs, Rogen plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Kate Winslet joins the cast as Joanna Hoffman, former Macintosh marketing chief. Jeff Daniels also stars as former Apple CEO, John Sculley.
