Canadian rap superstar, Drake, was taken to a Miami hospital following a fight with fellow rapper, P. Diddy.

On Monday night, many witnesses claim that P. Diddy punched Drake at LIV nightclub in Miami Beach during a party for Miami’s Art Basel festival.

According to TMZ, producer Boi-1da sent a song to both Drake and P. Diddy approximately 8 months ago. Drake was immediately interested in recording the song for himself, but P. Diddy “sat on the song, which frustrated Drake because he wanted to record it.”

Drake made the decision to record the song on his own, which apparently bothered P. Diddy. When the two ran into each other at the aforementioned party, P. Diddy approached Drake, who “blew him off”.

P. Diddy was not impressed with Drake’s behavior, so he punched him after saying “you’’ never disrespect me again.”

Drake was sent to the hospital, but not due to the punch specifically. Hi shoulder hit something during the scuffle, which aggravated a previous injury.
