Stan Lee is Producing a Secret Movie With New Superhero Character
The man behind ‘X-Men’ and ‘Iron Man’ has joined forces with Hollywood producer Avi Arad
Marvel great, Stan Lee, the man behind characters such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, The Hulk, and X-Men, has teamed upon with Hollywood producer and former Marvel Studios exec, Avi Arad, for a secret film project.
The discreet film project focuses on an entirely original character. Neither Lee or Arad are willing to share any information about the movie, the new superhero, or even the title, as they fear “some titles give away too much,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Avi Arad and Ari Arad, partners at Arad Productions, will be co-producing the project which has been set up at Columbia Pictures, the studio behind the ‘Amazing Spider-man’ films. Lee will also produce along with his POW! Entertainment partner, Gill Champion.
''At the ripe old age of 90, he can still put together magic. He's as sharp as a Japanese cooking knife. His mind is as young as it used to be,” Arad said of Lee.
Lee and Arad are in early pre-production stages, and are reportedly planning on meeting with screenwriters shortly.
