The Alexander Historical Auctions House in Maryland, best known for selling Nazi-themed militaria and artifacts, has gotten it’s hands (or shall we say finger) on a rare swastika ring once owned by Adolf Hitler.

The ‘Hitler Ring’- made of silver, plated with gold, inlaid with several rubies, and decorated with swastikas and swords- was found in 1945 by an American soldier who kept it as a souvenir, after troops raided the Furhrer’s mountain retreat in Bavaria.

The soldier who initially pocketed the ring only kept it for a short period of time. Over the last 65 years, it has switched ownership multiple times between collectors. The most recent owner passed away two years ago, and now his grandson is selling it at auction.

The ring, crafted by master goldsmith, Karl Berthold, comes with papers proving that it was commissioned for Hitler personally, as well as an elaborate three-tier base with a silver ball on top that houses the ring.

The Alexander Historical Auctions House expects the ring to fetch at least $100,000.
