iHeartRadio’s upcoming festival adds Drake to its already star-studded lineup.

Toronto’s favorite rapper plans to release his third full-length album ‘Nothing Was the Same’ on September 17th, which will now be immediately followed up with a headlining performance at the iHeartRadio Festival at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on the 21st.

The festival kicks off on September 20th with world-famous pop stars including Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Elton John, Muse, Keith Urban, J. Cole, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Phoenix, Ke$ha, Tiësto, Chris Brown, Keith Urban, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Benny Benassi. An Adam Lambert-led Queen set is also scheduled for the festival.

Additionally, for the first time since the inception of the festival, a second venue across from the MGM Grand will be set up called Festival Village. Taking place on the 21st (the day of Drake’s set), the 15-acre parking lot across from the Luxor Hotel will transform into a concert venue, with performances from the Wanted, Miley Cyrus, Jason Derulo, the Band Perry, Avril Lavigne, and more.
