Rashida Jones, daughter of legendary music producer Quincy Jones and star of ‘The Muppets’, received an unexpected request while on the campaign trail with President Obama… a proposal, ring and all.

According to 10news.com, while Jones was in Iowa encouraging students at the University to re-elect the President, a young fan dropped to his knee and asked for her hand in marriage.

While most celebrities would immediately write him off, and others would call security, Jones explains that she didn’t say yes, but she certainly didn’t say no either.

The ‘I Love You Man’ actress was previously engaged to London-based music producer, Mark Ronson, but is currently single. She was impressed by the ring her fan proposed with.

"I said maybe, let me think about it... I didn't wanna say no. He had a really cute ring, he wanted to give it to me but I didn't want to take his ring... 'Let me think about it, let me get back to you.' I think his name's Chris? He goes to the University of Iowa. I'm thinking about it, I'm taking my time!" Jones said.

"I feel like he'll find me again if it's meant to be," she joked.
