Drake Will Not Face Criminal Charges For Chris Brown Brawl
The case will not move forward
Drake received both good and bad news this Thanksgiving. After hearing the sad news of his grandmother’s passing yesterday, TMZ reports that neither Drake nor Chris Brown will face criminal charges for their participation in the nightclub brawl back in June.
According to TMZ, investigators found insufficient evidence to move forward with the case that involved entourage from both Drake and Chris Brown’s camp, and allegedly started over Rihanna.
During the same fight, NBA star Tony Parker, suffered an eye injury. He sued the owners of W.I.P nightclub for $20 million. A couple other lawsuits are in the works; a male model has filed a suit against Brown and Drake for mental distress and a hand injury, and the owners of the clubs trademarks are suing Brown and Drake for $16 million.
Drake might be off criminally, but the suing has just begun.
