Adam Levine and company, plus legions of fans will be pleased to hear that NBC officially announced the renewal of two more seasons of The Voice. Although, said news comes as no surprise given the incredible popularity of the reality singing competition, which has been averaging roughly 12 million viewers an episode this fall.

"This pickup will assure the many dedicated "Voice" fans that this innovative show will continue to bring some of the most talented new voices to the world's attention through all of next year. With the addition of Usher and Shakira as rotating coaches to join Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake in the next cycle, we know that this incredibly addictive program will remain even more relevant as we move forward through this exciting season," announced NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt in a statement.

Both Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green will be taking a hiatus from their respective judging duties on the show, to pursue other projects for six months.

Season 4 of The Voice, will air in spring of 2013, and season 5 will commence in the fall. The present cycle of the show, airs Monday and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 ET.
