Gwyneth Paltrow is becoming the female James Franco. Academy Award-winning actress, cookbook author, blog founder, fashion designer, and now Broadway producer. I think Paltrow can officially join the multi-hyphenate club.

The ‘Thanks For Sharing’ actress has signed on to co-produce an upcoming Broadway musical based on the music of 80’s rock band, The GoGo’s. She will be partnering with the son of 60’s pop icon Donovan, Donovan Leitch.

Paltrow and Leitch have already secured ‘Avenue Q’s’ Jeff Whitty to write the book, which is near completion, according to Showbiz411.

“I’m told the idea is for a jukebox show with a twist– it will be set in the 1600s and based on surprising source material that can’t be revealed yet,” says Showbiz411’s Roger Friedman.

“It’s all still in the early stages,” says Leitch.

As long as ‘We Got The Beat’ and ‘Our Lips Are Sealed’ are included, which is almost guaranteed, the untitled show is sure to be a hit.
