The Star Wars franchise has come to resemble much of a religion to dedicated viewers and fans alike. By the end of this year, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be released, while a new application will be allowing for a “virtual reality” experience with the Star Wars characters.

Now, yet another new application has been released for iOS and Android operating smartphones. The mobile application will consist of Star Wars news, a game and GIFs. The sci-fi app even lets you take selfie photos with different Star Wars characters, and customize the background of the picture.

Along with this, the app notifies you of your local weather conditions according to Star Wars lingo.

Users of the new application can choose up to three different visual themes, including the light side of the force, the dark side or a droid. Of course, Star Wars fans have the ability to change the themes whenever they wish.

Despite the numerous amount of features of the new application, the graphics have only been created to fit smaller smartphone screens, like iPhone 4. As a result, the graphics may appear stretched on bigger screens, like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Avid members of the Star Wars culture can look forward to downloading this new application, and anticipating the upcoming film in December 2015. Available for both Android and Apple users.
