A group of anonymous hackers have threatened Israel via a new video uploaded this week, that claims they will "erase" Israeli websites and servers from cyberspace.

The hackers said the repercussions felt by Israelis will be severe in what they refer to as an "Electronic Holocaust" on Israel.

The video shows a masked hacker in a suit delivering a statement, claiming that on April 7th, all of Israel's online services will vanish without a trace. "As we did many times, we will take down your servers, government websites, Israeli military websites, and Israeli institutions," he said.

"We will erase you from cyberspace in our Electronic Holocaust."

The video includes images of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, surrounded by Israeli defense ministers, officials and other leaders of the Israel Defense Forces, and also shows images of Palestinian children in Gaza reportedly taken during last year's Operation Protective Edge.

The group, while anonymous, cite that they've attacked Israel's cybersecurity before, though their most recent threat, a campaign against Israel last November, went unfulfilled.

Last year, on the same date (April 7th), an attack on Israel was perpetrated, but only a few sites were taken down, and for only a short period of time.
